Research and Scholarship

My research and scholarly writing reflect a commitment to inquiry that informs practice, supervision, and counselor education. Through engagement with multiple research approaches, I seek to contribute to conversations that support counselor development, wellness, and ethical practice. The materials in this section highlight my scholarly growth, research interests, and application of research to professional contexts.

This presentation documents my residency defense and outlines the purpose, framework, and proposed direction of my doctoral research. It reflects scholarly preparation, conceptual clarity, and engagement with research design within counselor education.

Leadership was provided in the development and successful award of a competitive expanded learning grant during service with the San Bernardino County Office of Education. The proposal process included coordinating cross departmental collaboration and aligning program design with state priorities. The awarded funding strengthened community learning center programming and expanded access to academic enrichment and family support resources for students and families across the region.
